Who we are

This website is operated by Belinda's Bakery Ltd (trading as Belinda's Bakery), a family bakery established in 1983 with shops at 2 Butlers Lane, Ringwood BH24 1UB and 18-20 High Street, Fordingbridge SP6 1AX. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" refer to Belinda's Bakery Ltd.

Company details: Belinda's Bakery Ltd is registered in England & Wales, company number 15223727, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (reference ZB751562). Registered office: 7 Dryden Close, Ashley Heath, Ringwood, BH24 2JB. The registered office is our accountant's address for official correspondence only — it is not a shop and is not open to customers. To visit us, please use the Poulner or Fordingbridge shop addresses above.

The information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

  • When you use our contact form — your name, email address, telephone number (optional), the subject of your enquiry and your message.
  • When you visit the site — anonymous usage information collected by analytics (see "Cookies and analytics" below), such as the pages you view, your approximate region, device type and how you reached the site.

We do not ask for or store payment-card details on this website. Online pizza orders are handled on a separate platform (see "Online ordering" below).

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the products or services you ask about.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or send marketing emails.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data on our behalf. We use this only to measure and improve the site — never to identify you personally.

We have chosen not to display a cookie-consent banner. If you would prefer not to be measured by Google Analytics you can: turn off or delete cookies in your browser settings; use your browser's "Do Not Track" or private-browsing mode; or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Spam protection

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps us tell real visitors from automated bots. Turnstile may process limited technical information from your browser to do this. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Online ordering

Pizza orders are placed through our Square ordering page, which is operated by Square. Any details you enter there (including payment information) are handled by Square under Square's privacy policy, not by this website.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site:

  • Google (Google Analytics) — website usage measurement.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security and spam protection (Turnstile).
  • Square — online pizza ordering and payment (only if you order online).

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our normal business records, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention settings.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
