Poulner: Bakery Shop Assistant

Hours: 7.30-2, but this can potentially be altered slightly for the right candidate.

Days: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri.

5.6 working weeks paid holiday, including Bank Holidays.

Job description: Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service. Prepare sandwiches etc according to customer requests. Assist customers in making choices by providing information about products, specials, ingredients etc.  Encourage customers to try additional products. Monitor stock in hot cabinet, replenishing as needed. Proactively maintain cleanliness and organisation of sandwich bar and counters. Top up drinks/crisps/fancies following proper stock rotation procedures. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using till, handling cash and card payments. Stay knowledgable about product offerings, ingredients, allergens and other relevant information. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards and all times, including proper handwashing and food handling. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment.

Fordingbridge: Bakery Shop & Cafe Assistant

Hours: 8-3

Days: Thursday and Friday, with the option to increase to four days at the end of September. Must be flexible for cover on non working days, and be available to work one Saturday per month.
